Saray: Authentic Middle Eastern Seafood Experience in Springfield

Don’t make the mistake I did, don’t sleep on this place. Everything about this spot is exceptional. The service is warm and attentive, and the food? Outstanding. Every dish is fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. I can’t believe I waited this long to try it.

Very friendly staff and professional and Turkish food menu are delicious and I love the appetizer liver fried and cheese pastries and for entree my fav was the lamb sac Kebob and mixed grilled kabob was delicious and salmon kabobs were fresh and unique and yummy. For desert- I tried the Sutlac-Rice pudding for first time and it’s turkish authentic desert and so delicious, also kunefe and baklava are my all time favorites. Highly recommended !

Immediately after I am shown to my table and given menus to peruse, a glass of cold water is poured, followed by "the bread is on the way." This to me is a welcome greeting. It is like saying thank you for coming in today. The place was not too full and had a fair amount of patrons, and it seemed their 2 servers had their hands full. Constantly greeting, taking orders, serving foods, etc. without a moment to slow down. So, with some patience on my part, I was served in a reasonable time. The food was served fairly quickly. It was me having to ask for extra napkins twice to get it that prevented me from rating 5 stars. Since I was undecided on what to have, I ordered the mixed cold appetizers (which may be a meal to itself) and the mixed grill. I preferred the first as it was full of flavor. The entree seemed somewhat bland in comparison. Maybe if it was served with more vegetables or a salad, perhaps? However, if you are a meat lover, you'll be happy. The meal was topped off with Cay (Turkish) tea only as I had no more room for dessert.

Absolutely love this place… The wife & I always come here when we are in town. Great authentic food. So many options on the menu. Best of all is their customer service. They treat you like family here. 3 Thumbs Up & 5 Stars from us.

I went to a Turkish restaurant last weekend with a couple friends, and it was a really nice experiance overall. The chicken kebab were juicy and the pide had that fresh-from-the-oven taste. Service was friendly without being pushy, though the food did take a little longer than I thought, but it wasn’t a big deal. The place felt cozy and clean, and prices seemed fair for the portions. I’ll definately come back when I’m in the mood for something different but still comforting.

Very delicious Turkish dish I have ever had in the united states. Gyro ( döner ) originally made. Köfte was delicious, chicken shish kebab, all mezes, home made bread and bulgur pilav. Delicious. For Next time I would drive 1.5 hour again and eat there.

This place is phenomenal!! The service was amazing. Very quick and attentive and our server had great recommendations. We started with the falafel appetizer that came with hummus and a salad. Then I got the chicken adana with yogurt and my husband got the doner kebab plate. If anyone wants the garlic yogurt with their food, I recommend just getting one side of garlic yogurt for the table because it’s big enough to share with 3/4 people. We finished with the baklava which was unbelievably delicious! They also serve complimentary tea at the end of dinner which was a nice touch. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! We will definitely be back :)
